Richard Davey Obituary

After a brief illness, Richard passed away at Hospice Wellington on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in his 89th year. He will be dearly missed by his wife of over 66 years, Shirley (nee Brown), his children Linda (Kim), Rick (Michele), Roy (Jen), Lori (Walter), Shelley (Casey), Sean (Georgeanne), his grandchildren Justin (Hayley), Amanda, Troy, Taelor, Kailey (Eric), Taylor (Cody), Kya, Ryan (Sarah), John (Liz), Shaylan (Marc), Daniel, Sara, Sydney and Camden, also 19 great-grandchildren.
Rich was the dear brother of Muriel (the late Howard) and brother-in-law of Jean (the late Ken). He is fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Roy and Frances, sister Sylvia (Jack), brother Robert, sister-in-law Judy, daughter-in-law Sheila and grandson Trevor.
The family would like to thank Hospice Wellington for their compassionate care.
A private celebration of Life will be held at GILCHRIST CHAPEL - McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Wellington.
