LANGAN, Trevor Michael
Formerly of Guelph, passed away peacefully after a long journey with Alzheimer's on the 14th of May, 2019 in his 83rd year. Born to Thomas and Emily Langan of Royton, Lancashire, England on the 29th of January 1937. Husband to Brenda (Donovan) for 56 years. Beloved father of Claire (Adam) of Ammon, New Brunswick, James of Onery, Alberta and Matthew of Guelph, Ontario. Proud papa of Cecilia. Dear brother of the late Thomas (Megan) and Terence (Marlene). Survived by brother Tony (Kath) and sister Marie (Paul), cousin and best friend Fred Kilroy all of England. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews in England and the US. Trevor emigrated with his family to Canada in 1975 after a career in the British and Bermuda police forces. He retired in 2002 after 18 years at the Guelph correctional Centre. A longtime member of the Guelph Legion, Trevor especially loved Thursday evening snooker and Saturday afternoon cards. The family would like to thank the Newmarket Heath Centre for almost five years of exceptional care especially Head nurse David and PSW Tess. You will always have a special place in our hearts. Cremation has already taken place. A private service is planned for a later date in Moncton, New Brunswick. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or The War amps. May he rest in peace.
