Victor Frederick Barker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Victor Barker, in his 89th year. He passed away at Hospice Wellington on Friday, May 19, 2023. He was the beloved husband and best friend of June Barker (nee Robins). Loving father of Pamela Limoges (Mike), Susanne Dickson (Murray) and the late Rob (1991). Victor was the cherished grandfather of Tiffany Patteson (Shawn Jordan), Cortney Patteson (Andrew Karkowlas), Chelsey Dickson and Brandon Dickson. Great-grandfather of Sutton and Tenley Jordan. He was the dear brother of Rheta Sundercock (Charlie), Connie Lebel (Joe), Pat Girvin (Ted), Audrey Henderson (Doug) and brother-in-law of Marlene Gough. Victor is predeceased by his parents George Barker and Edna (nee Cochrane). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and the friends that he made working at LaFarge for 40 years. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private inurnment at Dorchester Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
