Brian MACARTNEY Obituary
With great sadness the family announces Brian's passing on October 7, 2021, following a short but courageous battle with cancer. Brian is survived by his loving wife Suzanne (Galvin), his son Michael (Tomoko Akizuki) of Kitchener and his daughter Karen of Vancouver as well as his three grandsons Kien, Aiden and Ewan of whom he was so proud. Also survived by sisters Maureen Scott (Peter), Sharon Rosehart (Paul) and Faye Barrick. Brian was a retired employee of the Grand Erie Board of Education. He was an avid bridge player, a member of The Bridge Club of Niagara, an enthusiastic golfer, and an adventurous traveller. Cremation has occurred and a private Celebration of Life will take place at a later time.
