Sarah McLAUGHLIN

Peacefully on January 20, 2022, in the Grandview Lodge, which was her home for the last several years, after a stroke on Saturday, January 15th, with some family by her side. Predeceased by her Husband Owen McLaughlin (2005), Parents Charlie Reichheld and Martha Reichheld (Nee Melhenbacher) sisters Dorothy Cavanaugh, Sylvia Daniels, brothers Arthur Reichheld, Hugh Reichheld. Lovingly missed by her daughter, Diane McLaughlin Fair (Keith) of Cayuga, and Son, Roger of Toronto. Elga was born in Decewsville, Ontario on March 22, 1922, and almost made it a century, just a couple months shy of her 100th Birthday. Greatly missed by her Grandchildren, Julie (Craig), Colleen (Paul), Brent, Glenn (Cheryl). Elga was also great Gramma, and was known lovingly as GMac, to Sarah (Matt), Owen, Noah, Jacob (Tori) Alexis, Maeve, Darien, Levi, Jairus, Hope, Ella, and Norah. Predeceased by a Grandaughter Olivia. Elga also has 3 Great Grandchildren, Charlotte, Henry, and Avery. We would like to thank all the folks at Grandview who loved and cared for her so well over her years there. She will be missed. The funeral service for Elga will be held at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 1241 Highway 3 East, Dunnville on Saturday, January 29, 2022 (visitation 1 hour prior) (Those wishing to attend the service must RSVP through the funeral home website. Masks and physical distancing are required at all times.) Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Meadows Road, Cayuga). Funeral arrangements entrusted to BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME, Dunnville (905-774-7277).
