Barry, I am shocked at this news. I know since I moved out of my parents' we only saw each other a handful of times but I'll never forget you, and the sound of your voice. My fondest memories I have with you is all the Christmas mornings you (and Sandy!) spent with us. You were more than a friend, you were family. You were uncle Barry.
I wish you would of met my two boys, but I know that you're watching over them now. Until we all meet again, I hope you packed your duffle bag full of dvds to keep you entertained as you watch over us! Love Jessy

Barry , I just heard the news and I feel so empty. I don´t know if you knew how much you did for me and how I think of you everyday . Bringing me fishing as a kid at 5am. Random talks over pizza, subs and Segal and when I got older , over drinks. Im now doing the same to my friends kids. Bringing them out etc. You made me a better person and you didn´t even know it. Christmas time I picked up a few meals like you taught me to. Until we meet again brother, the wings will be on me and I´ll never be broke because of the love you gave me. Love you

Barry I will always cherish our friendship. You have been my dearest and longest friendship.
I will never forget the laughter we shared, and we shared a lot.
My heart refuses to say goodbye but I guess this is the way it has to be.
You were the best uncle Barry... to Tyler and Jessy.
You have not just been a friend to me you have been family.
I´ll miss you Bar.

I knew Barry from our occassional visits to the Kelseys on Guelph Line and enjoyed many wonderful chats with him.

Barry has been a co-worker and friend of mine for 23 years. His straight talk and sometimes acerbic nature belied the fact that Barry always had my back and had a heart of gold. He will leave a great void which will never be filled.

In my brief time working with Barry he taught me many things and was a mentor at work. RIP Barry you will be missed.
