Catherine FALLOW Obituary
FALLOW, Catherine Mary (""MARGOT"") January 30, 1945 - November 4, 2017 This remarkable tenacious lady, who climbed so many HUGE mountains throughout her life, left us to meet-up with her Mom, her Dad and her dearly loved and much missed twin brother Moe and her stepbrother Bill. Margot suffered 4 debilitating strokes on September 16, 2017. She spent the last five weeks of her life at OTMH - 3 North, Palliative Unit 1 -under the compassionate care of Dr. Kazem; Yolanda, Heather and the incredible palliative nursing team who valued Margot's wishes with such great respect. Margot spent the last seven years living at OSCC. She forged many wonderful friendships with her care-givers who made her challenging life a great deal easier and allowed her the fierce independence she so valued and treasured. Rose, Annie, Dianne and so many more wonderfully compassionate staff at OSCC; we thank you all. Margot valued ""family"" above everything else! She never quite recovered from losing her beloved twin brother Moe over 10 years ago. She patiently waited on November 4th to ensure she was surrounded in our loving arms before peacefully slipping away. Her strength and courage was inspirational and she has left indelible and lasting lessons for us all. She will be greatly missed by sister-in-law Pam Fallow, nieces and nephews; Sandy (Jody) Fallow; Kirsty (Brent) Bulloch; Adrian (Andrea) Fallow and her treasured great-nieces and nephews; Emma, Charlie, Ella, Molly, Daisy, Max and extended family. This beautiful lady who hated the limits of her body throughout her entire life would have been so thrilled to know she gave the gift of VISION to two very lucky recipients; they will be truly blessed to see the world through Margot's eyes! God Bless you Margot. We will always love and miss you. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., at Saint Dominic Parish, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville, ON L6L 2B1. In lieu of flowers, consideration of donations in Margot's memory to the""Friends of Moe Foundation"" at UHN - Toronto General Hospital would be appreciated.
