Douglas Bramer Obituary

Douglas Clifford Bramer, in his 97th year, passed into the presence of his Lord on December 12, 2020 at Faith Manor, Brampton. Beloved husband of the late Vera (Stewart) Bramer (married 66 years), father of Paul (Marlene), Stephen (Sharon), Eleanor (Kevin), Tim (Beth), Mark (late Anne) (Laurie), Ruth (Barry), Martha (John), grandfather of 18, and great grandfather of 21. Doug was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and lived in Sudbury, North Bay, Pembroke and Oakville. Doug had an extensive Christian ministry and was a long-time elder at Hopedale Bible Chapel, Oakville. He managed Streight's Jewellers at Hopedale Mall in Oakville for 27 years until his retirement in 1989. Doug was a family man, a committed Christian, a lay minister, an enthusiastic retailer, a sportsman, a mentor and a friend. He was loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.
