October 3, 1937 - June 16, 2022
With broken hearts, the family of Eugene (Gene) Beaudry announce his passing after a brief illness on June 16, 2022. His suffering is over and he is at peace. Gene was a loving husband of 55 years to Bonnie, devoted father to Laura, Jason and David (Devon), and adoring grandfather to Meagan (Jeremy), Shayla (Matt), Jorden, Taylor and Grant. He also leaves behind his brothers Ray Beaudry and Paul Beaudry, sisters Claire Beaudry, Georgette St. Pierre (Gilles), Anita Beaudry and Diana Holland. Predeceased by brothers Ernest (2007) and Gerry (2018), as well as many nieces and nephews and their extended families. Gene loved being at Lancaster's Resort, fishing on Lake Mississagagon, and frying up the bass he caught that day. He cheered on his Maple Leafs loyally every year, in spite of constant disappointment, and followed the Blue Jays faithfully. He was a man of simple pleasures, and we loved him for it. An avid photographer, Gene was never without his camera for every event, whether it was family dinners, trips abroad, or capturing the sunset from the apartment balcony. We are all so grateful now for all those permanent beautiful memories. He spent most of his working life first as a draftsman, and then as an Architectural Designer at Giffels Associates in Windsor and Toronto. Gene took his responsibilities seriously, whether at work, home or play, and was a paragon of steadfastness and dedication to all who knew and worked with him. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gene's life at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown, Ontario on June 24, 2022 at 1:00. Reception at the funeral home to follow. In lieu of flowers, if you choose, please make a donation in Gene's memory to the
