Giuseppe "Joe" DiCamillo

1933 - 2021

1933 - 2021 It is with heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Giuseppe (Joe) DiCamillo at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in his 88th year. Giuseppe was born December 12, 1933 in Colle d'Anchise, Campobasso, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1960. Reunited now with his beloved wife Maria (2019). Loving and devoted father of Fred (Nadia) and Teresa (Vince) Fanelli. Much loved and adoring Nonno to Daniel, Andrew, Stefan, Alessia, and A.J. He will be fondly remembered and missed by his close family, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Family was very important to him, he was proud of his children and grandchildren. He taught us respect and the value of good work ethics. He was a devoted employee of Ford Motor Company for many years and was a proud Canadian. He loved celebrating birthdays and holidays with his family. His home was always open to all. He was as an amazing man with a big heart and will be missed by all. Our family is exceptionally thankful for the great care the doctors and nurses provided at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Hamilton General Hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Thomson for his care and support over the years.
