Grant STARK

STARK, Grant Grant Stark was the devoted son to Meldrum and Edna Stark and the loving husband to Betty Stark (Newell). After a life well lived Grant passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in his Milton home. Grant was the loving Father to Dale (Reg) Teed, Darlene (Mark) Mullally and Duane (Donna) Stark. Proud Poppa to Natalie (Adam) Haller, Darryl Teed, Sara Mullally, Jessy Stark, Kevin Mullally and Brittany Stark. Great-Poppa to Desmond Teed, Maxwell Haller, Demi Teed, and Conrad Haller. Grant was the brother of Mary (the late Bob) Thomson, Gloria Brown, Glenna (Bruce) Nickerson. Grant was Brother-in-law to Keith (Diane) Newell, Murial (Mike) Moynes, Brian Newell, Nancy (Bill) Wilson, Anne (the late George) Newell, Paul (the late Judy) Lee. Predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law Sam and Evelyn Nadalin. Grant Stark was the proud owner of Grand Transport for many years when he and Betty chose to retire and explore North America while RVing with friends and family. Grant was an avid golfer who achieved his first hole in one in August 2015, and a master of the garden. Grant was happiest when surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren sharing stories and laughter. Family and friends gathered at McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home 114 Main Street E., Milton 905-878-4452 on Friday, November 23, 2018. The funeral service was held on Saturday, November 24, 2018. Memorial donations will be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
