Hilda ASTON Obituary

"Have a party for me." These are Hilda Aston's words. Hilda, "The Little General," passed away on March 18, 2021. She was the youngest of 11 children and one tough French farm girl. She is separated for the first time from her best friend, her partner in marriage for 67 years, her loving handsome "Aston Honey," Jack "JR" Aston. Together they raised four daughters — Tanis, Jody, Lisa, and Darcy — and thoroughly enjoyed their six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She had incredible talent. We will always remember her as the crafty, tap dancing, golf loving gal. We love you very much our sweet guardian angel. "It's OK on my side, Jack." In honouring Hilda's wishes, cremation has taken place. Uncle Jack and family.

Sorry to hear of aunty passing. Dad, mom and I sang her happy birthday over the phone on one of her birthdays. We gave it our best, but were way off tune and kind of sounded like cats and goats mixed together. When we were all done, she was so thankful and complimented us on our singing and gave us a real boost. So kind. OXO Aunty. Dad (Emile) had a lot of great memories of his little sister Hilda, which he shared with us over the years. Thinking of all of you. Take care.
