Isabel,

This makes me so sad to see. I will always remember you. Your laughter, your energy, your hugs, and your love of music. I consider myself very lucky for having known you

Isabel was the most unselfish, caring and joyful person I have ever had the privilege of knowing. She had no expectations of you and was free of judgment. What you saw with her, was what you got. Isabel was full of fun and a warm energy. Her life brought goodness to the world. Rest In Peace Isabel.

My dear friend and neighbor. You are so sadly missed but will never be forgotten. It was a privilege to be befriended by you. You taught me to spontaneously enjoy life. You reached out to help others before thinking of yourself.

Our walks took ages because you had to pat all the dogs and speak to all the babies. During movies at the theater you would have everyone around you laughing or crying and when we went to a restaurant you were friends with other tables before leaving, especially if there were children.

Everyone was special to you. Your laughter and humor will be missed.

Our deepest sympathies to Isabel's loved ones. We are so sad to hear of her passing. We were fortunate enough to be neighbours of Isabel's. She was such a kind, friendly and generous lady. Before we even moved onto the street, we drove by our 'soon to be' new house and Isabel came straight over to us to introduce herself and welcome us to the neighbourhood. She was so genuine and was always a pleasure to be around. We are so sorry for your loss.

She was a wonderful friend. So many good memories. I know we drove her sister May crazy at times getting into trouble and not listening. She would be there for you through good and bad times. I miss her smile and laughter.

Isabel, my sister is the youngest of a family of seven children. She did not have an easy life, her mother having died when Isabel was only 8 months old. Nevertheless, she found ways to make us happy and to be thankful for her and her fun-loving and caring nature. She came to Canada when she was 10 years, made new friends some of whom have remained her friends to this day. Isabel was thoughtful, kind, generous, caring and a very loving and helpful wife to Wally, great mother to Michael and Jennifer, loyal to all, including her brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces, some of whom were brought into this world by 'being there' for their mother. She had many friends, some of whom were able to visit with her while she was hospitalized. We knew she was aware of us when we visited her. She let us know, by squeezing our hand, that she understood what we were saying to her.
She is gone now, but will never be forgotten. She knows that we loved her in sickness and in health. She has brightened our days and we will be forever thankful to have had her in our lives.
Bless you Isabel, rest in peace and keep in mind that we will always remember you.
Much love to you from Catherine and Duncan, son Duncan, Janice and Karen. We will always think of you lovingly and thankful that you were in our lives.

To my dear sister Isabel, you are so missed and loved by all of us, and we are thankful you are finally at peace from the years you had to suffer from Alzheimer’s.
You are now reunited with your loving husband Wally, sister May, brothers Jim, and Ian, and so many others including my own husband Ernie.
We will never forget you Isabel, and I am forever honoured to be able to call you my sister. Love you and will miss you always.
