I am very saddened by the news of Keith´s passing. Our family lived on the same street and there was at least one "Murphy" for each kid in our comparatively small family of 6. Keith was my sister´s "Murphy". Hence the whole family got to love and appreciate his kind soul. He was an incredible skier and could swim faster than anyone. We played hide-and-seek throughout the house and for hours. He was a joy. He will be missed.

Dear Murphy Family,
We grew up together in the same schools/church/neighborhood as the Murphy family. What a wonderful and colorful family you were. But Keith was the cherished love in the center of it all. With his big smile that matched his heart, he kept the kindness and joy flowing. He was always ready to do more and do it with true joy. My Mom reminded me how in church my Dad would pass the collection plate and with wide eyes and a big smile Keith was elated to come help him with pride.
Keith will be truly missed and fondly remembered for all his love, positivity, and eagerness to live life to the fullest with joy and passion.
To all the Murphy family, we thank you for generously sharing Keith with us and the community to remind us how to see things through his positive, friendly, kind eyes.
May we live and learn to see the best in everything as Keith did.
Hold him in your memory
Find him in your dreams
Fill him in your heart
My thoughts and prayers are with you,

The Weldons (Montreal)

We, the Weldons (Montreal), have many good memories of Keith and we were very saddened to hear of his passing.
I, Cathie, remember the first time I arrived at the door of Murphy's Manor and was greeted by Keith's welcoming smile. From my first visit, I felt like a friend. Over the years, Keith and I had many interesting conversations, fueled by root beer and chips, while he shared his love of country music. On the eve of my own mother's funeral, I was staying with Pat and Keith and struggling to compose a eulogy at the dining room table. Keith came upstairs for his usual midnight snack, came to check on me, and gave me his wise advice on how to move forward..."speak from the heart".
I, Jonathan, during my 3-month stay in the downstairs apartment, remember how positive and full of life Keith was every day. He was ecstatic when I bought him a DVD of one of his favourite shows, Thunderbirds. Like me, he seemed to take pleasure in the small things in life.
I, Barry, remember how welcoming Keith was to me every time I stayed at Murphy's Manor, and made me feel like one of the family. He delighted in showing me his photo album of all his hooked rugs.
I, Andrew, recall Keith's easygoing nature and passion for life. He always seemed to be smiling, and took a genuine interest in how I, and others, were feeling. And he loved pro wrestling!
We, Cathie and Jonathan, also recall Keith's loving tribute to his mom, Pat, on the occasion of her 75th birthday. It was clear to all of us just how much he loved and appreciated his mother.
We will all miss Keith and his wonderful spirit.
Our love and condolences to the Murphy family.
Cathie, Jonathan, Barry and Andrew.
