HOOVER, Margaret (nee Von Ompteda) It is with deep sorrow that our family announces the passing of Margaret in her 74th year on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford Ontario. Margaret was a dedicated family woman and is survived by her husband Ron, and her loving children ; Lynn (Ross), Ron (Donna) and Suzanne. Margaret was a dear sister to her brother Frederik Von Ompteda (Ingrid). She will be sorely missed by her special loves - her grandchildren; Nicole, Matt, Maggie and Cate - Grandma will always be with you. Margaret will be missed by her extended family as she was a loving and active aunt and cousin to many and a cherished friend to many many more. She has left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure to know her and for those lucky enough to have known her heart full of love; we will be forever changed for the better. A Celebration of Life for Margaret will take place at Glen Oaks Funeral Home , 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, 905 257 8822, on Sunday, December 16th at 1 p.m. with a visitation from 12 - 1 p.m. A reception to follow. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the Stedman Community Hospice. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the team of Doctor's and dedicated Nurse's at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton and a special thank you to all of the Staff and Volunteers at Stedman who cared for Margaret so compassionately; you are all Angels.
