Maria AGRO

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on June 30, 2022, at the Allendale Long term care home, Milton. Maria will be deeply missed by her husband of 54 years, Salvatore, her sisters Angela (predeceased Giuseppe) and Rosa. Nieces; Giuseppina Sardo and family of Germany, Lina, Sally and Rita and nephews Angelo and Sam. Great nephew Matthew and great niece Stephanie and Oliva. Maria is predeceased by her parents Calogero and Salvatrice Vitello, siblings Vincenzo (Maria), Nicolo (Angela), Giovanni (Maria), Antonietta (Calogero) and Grazia. Maria will be missed by her Brother-in-law Giuseppe and family, Niece Gina Sedita, Great Nephew Luca Sedita and Great Niece Florence King and family. She is predeceased by Antonio Agró, and Maria Agró. Maria Immigrated to Canada in 1965 with her sister to Hamilton. Maria married Salvatore on April 6, 1968. She worked at the Manor (Allendale) for 15 years. The family received visitors on Monday, July 4, 2022, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. from HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 139 Martin St., Milton with interment at the Milton Evergreen Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff and volunteers at the Allendale Long Term Care Facility for their care and support over the years.
