Richard Colbeck Obituary
On the morning of Monday, August 30, 2021, Matthew passed away with his mother and sister at his bedside after a very long struggle with diabetes and kidney failure at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital at the age of 39. Beloved son of Eileen (Rob) and the late Rick. Loving brother to Julie and her husband Chuck. Cherished uncle of Chloe and Grady. Remembered by his uncle Rob, aunt Sharlima, aunt Marion, uncle Ken, aunt Jeannie, uncle Tim, uncle Ed and aunt Uni. Predeceased by aunt Margie. He will also be sadly missed by his cousins, extended family and friends. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2 p.m. from J. Scott Early Funeral Home, Milton (905) 878-2669. Attendance is limited. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.

Matt will be sadly missed on 7 South at OTMH. He was our only permanent patient for 2 years and was part of our family. Things do not seem the same without him. He had an amazing memory for names and never forgot who anyone was. We will always remember you Matt. Rest In Peace.
