May 13, 1926 - March 24, 2022
Peacefully at Van Horne Retirement Residence on Thursday, March 24th, Alice Rebecca Crowder (nee Lynn). Predeceased by her dear husband Milton Crowder. Loving mother of Doug (Helen), David (Janet), Donald (Pauline), Cheryl Martin (Brent). Grandmother of Nathaniel (Brittany), Bradley, Erica, Nicole, Shane Martin (Sarrah), Daniel. Great-grandmother to Jake Martin, Gavin Martin and Alyson Crowder. Predeceased by great grandchild Damian.
Alice was a graduate of the Brockville School of Nursing. As a dedicated and caring nurse, she enjoyed a long and varied career in Perth, Cobourg, the province of Alberta, the Rideau Regional Centre, and the Smiths Falls Public Hospital.
The family expresses their heartful thanks to the staff of the Van Horne Retirement Residence and Bayshore Home Care Solutions for their professional, kind and loving care of our mother.
As per Alice's wishes, cremation has taken place. A funeral service was held in the Chapel on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 11:00a.m. A Celebration of Life took place immediately following the service at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 95. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Smiths Falls Community Food Bank are appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. Online condolences available at www.lannin.ca
