Andrew BUTTERWORTH Obituary

Passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the age of 78. Loving husband to Margo (Boughner) of 52 years. Andrew leaves behind two daughters Dawna (Darren) and Tracy (Dave) and grandchildren Kurtis, Taylor (Taylor), Elyssa (Taylor), Owen (Julia), Hayden, Brandin, Ramsey and bonus grandsons Miky, Tristan and Andrew. Super proud great- grandfather to Levi and Jack. Predeceased by his father George, mother Agnes and his brother Edward. Andrew was a loved brother-in law and uncle. He leaves behind many friends who will miss him greatly. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, Carleton Place. Donations in memory of Andrew to LAWS and the Carleton Place Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Andy was a stalwart, a gentleman...always time for a few words. I first met him in the Diefenbunker when on weekends he wanted to be patched through on our switchboard to the lady he was courting, Margo, who lived in Carleton Place. I would see him frequently serving as a commissionaire after I started working in CSE on Heron Drive and he always had time for a few words...a real gentleman. We frequently encountered him at the "Eating place" in town where he and friends would meet regularly. he will be missed.
