With sadness, the family announces that their Matriarch passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital with loved ones by her side on Saturday evening, March 12, 2022, Annie Stachera of Arnprior was in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Jozef "Joe" Stachera (February 25, 2004). Dearly loved mother of Jan Stachera (Barb) and Stephanie McManus (Pat), both of Arnprior. Cherished and much loved Nana/Grandma of six grandchildren, Rick Stachera (Sheila), Laura Stachera (Chris McGregor), Lesley Stachera (Ben), Duane McManus (Sherie), Erin Robertson (Tyler), Michael McManus (Jodi) and seven great-grandchildren, Austin, Rylan, Kyleigh, Rachel, Rebecca, Lilly Anna and Everly. Annie was the last surviving child of the late Jan and Magdalena Grabowski. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Ted and Joe Grabowski as well as three sisters, Mary Klis, Helen Kos and Stefania Piek. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Annie's final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where friends paid their respects on Friday morning, March 18th from 9 to 10:45 a.m. A Service to honour Annie followed in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o'clock.
