peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the age of 74 years. Chuck Gesner of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Sandra Gesner (nee Beach). Much loved dad to Stephanie Gesner (Andy Bugg) of Vienna, Austria, and Jeff Gesner (Jessica) of Vancouver, BC. Dearly loved papa to Jack Bugg. Son of the late Nelson and Olive Gesner (nee McKenzie). Dear brother of Art (Linda) Gesner, Carleton Place; Cathy (Dave) Porteous, Carleton Place and Terry (Jim) Yach of Arnprior. Predeceased by sister Rosemarie Gesner. Respecting Chuck's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of Chuck's life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke, ON. As an expression of sympathy in memory of Chuck, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program would be appreciated.

Oh, Sandy, Stephanie and Jeffrey, I am so, so sorry to hear of Chuck´s passing. It´s been so long since we´ve connected but something told me to check the Valley Obituaries. I would have been there had I known. I can´t imagine the pain you´re going through. I will remember all the good times we´ve had together. Many hugs to all.
