Derrick Thompson Obituary

Derrick passed away in hospital, Ottawa following a brief illness on Monday, February 7, 2022, at the age of 61. Loved son of James (Jim) and Viola (Vi) Thompson. Derrick will be sadly missed by sons Steven Lindsay and Ryan Thompson (Tara), and his grandchildren Alec and Liam; his brother Darren Thompson (Debbie) and sister Kelly Thompson. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews, Nicole (Aaron), Josh (Sarah), Tanya (Jon), Michelle, Brady and Jamie as well as great-nieces and nephews, extended family, many good friends, and last but not least Sadie. Private arrangements will take place at a later date. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and the entire Critical Care Team at the Ottawa General Hospital for their excellent care and compassion given to Derrick and our family.
