Donalda Hughes Obituary
Donalda Joan Hughes (née Hawley) at the Perth & Smiths Falls
Hospital (Smiths Falls site), on Friday, January 14, 2022. Beloved wife
of, and predeceased by Wilbur Empey Hughes. Beloved mother of Heather
Mary Hughes (at home). Sister of and survived by Robert J. Hawley
(Pegi) of Kilmarnock, Ontario. Survived by brother-in-laws and
sister-in-laws, Ken Baker and wife Eileen of Brockville, Ontario, and
Donnie (Leona) Hughes of Easton's Corners. Remembered fondly by many
nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Graduate of the BGH Nursing Program in 1957, and former RN at Smiths
Falls Public Hospital.
Friends were invited to meet with the family at the Lannin Funeral Home
on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm, and again from 6:00pm
- 8:00pm. A funeral service was held in the Chapel on Wednesday,
January 19, 2022 at 11:00am. Interment will take place in Spring at
Wolford Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Perth
& Smiths Falls Community Hospital Foundation would be greatly
appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin
