Eva Elizabeth Dryden

Peacefully at the Almonte General Hospital with family by her side on Friday, April 29, 2022, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Robert Dryden. Loving mother of Elvalea (Brian) Siverns, William South, and step-mother of Brenda (Chris) Darling, Scott (Joyce) Dryden, Julie (David) Staniforth, and Christina (Mark) Dryden. Cherished grandmother of Krista (Adam) Bremner, Andrea (Jake) Hammill, Hailey Martin, and step-grandmother of Sean Staniforth, Stephen Staniforth, Bruce (Elizabeth) Darling, Emily (Jay) Chapman, Tyler (Sarah) Dryden, Brodie (Hannah) Dryden, Brendan Dryden, and Ariel Dryden. Forever missed by her great-great grandchildren Charlie and Eddie Bremner, Elianna and Abigail Hammill, and step-great-great grandmother of Claire Darling. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Elva McVeety and her former husband Frank South.

Friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, May 04, 2022 from 11:00am till the time of the funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00pm. Interment will follow after the service at Maple Vale Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place immediately following the interment at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 95. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Trinity United Church or the Lombardy Agricultural Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
