Gerald "Gerry" Heney

Gerry passed away in the Perth hospital on Wednesday morning, December 7, 2022, at the age of 96 years. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (Noonan) Heney, a son who passed away in infancy, brothers Howard (Shirley), Harry Heney and sister Irene (Ed) Roberts. Gerry will be sadly missed by his sons Brant (Tammy) and Matt (Christa) Heney, daughter Juli Heney (Charles Henderson); grandchildren Brandon, Shaun, Sequoia (Dallyn Sullivan), Darien, Maitland, Haydon and Seren; sister Dorothy (Ken) Blair and sister-in-law Joyce Heney. He will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair and Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Interment, St. Johns Cemetery, Perth. In remembrance of Gerry, those wishing are asked to consider memorial donations to Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation (Perth site) or the Ottawa Heart Institute.
