John (Sandy) McGregor
Retired Supervisor Renfrew County Roads, Goshen Patrol. It is with great sadness that we announce Sandy's sudden passing at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the age of 71. Loving husband of Bunny (McMahon) McGregor for 47 years. Dear dad of Stephanie and Steven (Sara Luker). Proud poppa of Michaela (Lewis), Zander, Zaven, Zalea, Zalyn and great poppa of Abby, Jaxon, Autumn and Mia. Dear brother of Earl (late Helen), Brenda (Clarence Borutski), Barry (Bernie), Jim (Marvine) and brother-in-law of Bill (Elaine) and Gerri (Kevin Brydges). Sandy was predeceased by his parents Steve McGregor and Margaret "Peggy" McLean and his siblings Murray (Geraldine), Bruce, Roy and baby Steve. Sandy will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. A visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St. S, Renfrew on Sunday, March 20, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. A private family service will be held. Spring interment Goshen Cemetery. Dear Bunny: So very sorry for your loss. I remember that you used to come into the Chamber Visiting Centre for travel information so know how much the two of you enjoyed your travels every summer. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and hope to see you soon.
