Joseph Richard "Rick" HUGHES

With heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Rick at home with loved ones by his side on Saturday morning, May 27, 2023. He was 67 years old. Loving and devoted husband of Joan (nee Lepack). Cherished Dad of Adam (Krista), Allison Murphy (Adam) and Stephen (Erika). Beloved Poppa of Stella, Evelyn, Lonnie and Ryan. Dear brother of Kevin (Pauline). Special son-in-law of Ida Lepack (late Lawrence) and brother-in-law of Larry Lepack (Jill). Predeceased by his parents, Nelson and Mary (Nee Holley); his brother Brian and his sister, Bonnie Riddell.
Rick's care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation was held on Thursday, June 1st from 2-4 and 6-8 and on Friday, June 2nd from 9:30-10:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Reception followed. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Renfrew.
