Laurence Wells Obituary

(The Grandpuba)
March 17, 1944 - January 4, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, Grampa, Brother and Friend. Predeceased by his parents, Ken and Dorie, and his sister Kathy. Leaving behind his brother Craig, his children Lara, John and Lyn, and his grandchildren Ben and Sarah, Quinton and Rose.
A retired Bell Canada employee, in his 78th year, Dad was an avid classic car enthusiast who loved spending the summer months cruising around town in his antique convertibles, with his grandkids riding shotgun.
Throughout his retirement, he enjoyed many winters sightseeing and shopping along the Malecon in sunny Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Dad truly lived his best life right until the end.
We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to Dr. Asaad Al-Hindawi for the exceptional care and support he provided to our dad, and as well to our family, over the past several years.
We would also like to give thanks to the staff at Orchard View by the Mississippi in Almonte for their assistance in helping us make Dads last few years active and enriching.
Due to current restrictions, the family will have a small private gathering, and a public memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Dads memory to Lanark Animal Welfare Society and/or to Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary.
