Lois Nichol Obituary
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Lois Nichol, in her 92nd year, peacefully in Smiths Falls Hospital surrounded by her family on January 07, 2022.
Loving Mother of David (Diane), Stephen (Rose), Cathie (Dale) McCabe. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Monica & Bryan (Christa) Nichol, James & Darla Nichol, Devin (Melissa) Nichol & Jason Nichol, Nick (Allison) McCabe, Lindsay (Andy) Simmons. She was a much-loved Great Granny to many great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Nancy (Ralph) Young. Predeceased by her husband Harold Nichol.
A self-effacing and independent person, Lois will be remembered for her love of family, her miniature schnauzers and her quiet sense of humour which she maintained in the face of adversity.
Lois will be missed by her friends and neighbours who have been so supportive of her, especially in her last few months at home.
As per Lois' instructions, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. A private family service will be held celebrating her life at a later date.
