Mark and I shared a bond forged in the US Marine Corps during our tenure at Camp Lejeune. Our camaraderie transcended our service, blossoming into a lasting friendship that has endured over time. Mark exemplified honor and pride in his service, carrying himself with unwavering dignity.
Beyond our military days, our connection remained steadfast. A trip to his home in Lanark stands out in my memory, where we explored his cherished hunting spots. These outings not only reflected his love for the outdoors but also provided moments for us to exchange thoughts on a myriad of topics.
Mark's devotion to his family was unmistakable; he spoke of them fondly and with immense pride. His admiration for his loved ones was palpable in every conversation we shared over the years.
Your absence is deeply felt, my friend. Rest peacefully, my brother. Ted Lunacek, USMC
