Michael Albert Phillips

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mike Phillips on February 27, 2022, at the age of 68. Son of Lorne (Pat) Phillips of Parksville, BC, and the late Ann Shirley (nee Kerr). Loving husband of Catherine (nee Button). Predeceased by his former wife Donna Hilton. Father of Jessica Phillips of Kingston, ON, and Christopher (Sarah) Phillips of Carleton Place, ON. Step father of Chris (Helen) Mussell of Christ Church, New Zealand, Danyell (Dave) Nail of Orangeville, ON, Katie (Angelo) Presta of New York, USA , Tessa (Will) McNaughton of Ottawa, ON, the late Matt McNaughton and Shane VanVlack. Proud Poppy of Philip and Mitchell Scissons, Mikey Phillips, Heidi and Earl Nephin, Alex and Hannah Mussell, and his step grandchildren; Ava, Lauren, Sophie, Greyson, Jamieson, Benjamin and Oliver. Special uncle to Devon, Sarah, Adam, Jake, Emily and the late Tommi. Survived by his brother Richard Phillips of Lyndhurst, ON. Predeceased by brothers Jack and Chuck (late Tiina). Special friend to Lee and Debra Hodgkinson, and John (Poonie) Mitchell. He will be loved, missed, and fondly remembered by many extended family and friends.
As per Michael's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lung Health Foundation, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
