February 7, 1958 - January 22, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Nancy Griffith of Calgary Alberta, with her cherished sons beside her. She had been courageously living with cancer for five years. Nancy embraced life through her love of arts, culture, motherhood, and outdoor activities. She was a truly dedicated mother who encouraged her boys in all areas; to be true to themselves and to follow their interests and dreams. She was a generous and vibrant woman who loved music, dancing, drumming, painting, gardening, traveling, photography, and outdoor activities. Nancy brought colour into life. Nancy is the daughter of the late James and Edith Griffith (Ringer) of Smiths Falls. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Esther. She leaves behind her sons Nicholas and Quinlan and their father, Bill Todd. She will be remembered and missed by friends, family, and her community. Especially by her siblings Linda Benedictson (Randy), Betty Jane Stansel (Bob), Melanie Beath (late David), Cynthia Faulkner (late Wayne), James Griffith (Cindy), and her many nieces and nephews.

I knew Nancy from exercise classes in Bragg Creek over the years in our mutual quest for fitness. My husband and I also ran into Nancy and the boys often on the ski trails over the years as they grew up. She loved her family very much and I know will be greatly missed. Our condolences and sympathy to all.

I met Nancy in a local park one day and had an absolutely lovely conversation with her. Condolences to her family and friends. I am sure she will be greatly missed.
