With sadness the family announces that Ben passed away peacefully at Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew on Friday morning, May 13, 2022. He was 90. Beloved husband for over 66 years of Melba Johnson (nee Cottrell) of Woodlawn. Dear father of Wendy Johnson (Kevin) and Bob Johnson (Pat). Special grandpa of Amy Johnson, Trevor Johnson (Natalie), Jessica Gill (Colin), Evan Thornton and Taylor Thornton and great-grandpa of Jacob Johnson and Georgina Gill. Son of the late Anthony and Ella (nee Kenney) Johnson. Ben's private care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. In Ben's memory, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
