William MOUND Obituary

MOUND, William Arthur (July 22, 1956 - January 10, 2019) Bill passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, after a five-year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born in Trenton, Ontario to the late Olive and Edwin Mound. He is survived by his wife Lynne; dear children, Ashley, Jennifer, Vanessa, Michael; and granddaughter, Brooke. He will be held in the hearts of his sister, Pat (Ted); brothers, Bob (Cheryl), Ted (Marilyn), Wes (Tricia); nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Bill was a former Brighton resident where he attended high school and spent time as a councillor with the municipality of Brighton, making impactful changes. His wishes were to be put to rest in the community he was brought up in, alongside his late parents. Bill will be remembered for his wit, charm, intellect, love for golf and nature. He will be sadly missed. A burial service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery (Brighton, Ontario) on Saturday, May 11th at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Princess Margaret Hospital (allocated to Pancreas Cancer Research Fund) would be appreciated by the family.
