Alan Fowler Obituary

On March 3, 2004 not only did I lose my husband, but most importantly my best friend. He handled his illness with dignity and he slipped away peacefully with Charlene by his side.

He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Charlene; his Dad and Mom (Robert and Ellen) Fowler; sisters Bernice, Susan (Mike) and Donna; mother-in-law Jean (Jim) Park, Victoria; sisters-in-law Linda (Glen), Kathy (John), Wendy (Tom); stepsons Stewart (Renel), Patrick (Jen); the apple of his eye, his granddaughter, Chessa; his special niece Ashley; his nephews Jason, Stephen, Graham, Cory, Tim (Amber), Chad, Adam, Andrew and Darcy; many aunts and uncles; dear friend Bernadette Beesley; Joe Ellicot; his special grandmother Alberta Fowler; his godsons Allan and Joel Kidner; his very special animal friends Mario, Sabrina and Brandi. You will be missed by all.

Alan served as a Scout Leader and Service Scouter for 25 years. He worked for the City of Kamloops for 29 years and was with the K.I.B.I.H.T. for 15 years.

A celebration of Alan?s life will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. at the Kamloops Alliance Church, 233 Fortune Drive.

Special thanks to Dr. Yeung, Dr. Hussain, the Nursing Staff of the Royal Inland Hospital and staff of the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice House.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice House.
