I am a friend and a x boss of Alexis from Calgary and just found out about Alexis passing and am heartbroken about it.
She was more of a friend than an employee and I am sure will be greatly missed. I know she loved her job in Kamloops and will be missed there.
Rest In Peace Alexis

Sincere condolences to all of Alexis' family and friends. I first met Alexis at TRU, we did our degrees together and later worked together. She was an amazing person and social worker who always knew she wanted to work in child welfare. She had an infectious laugh and was quick to put people at ease. An incredibly determined person gone too soon, but her impact will be remembered by many.

My heart is broken for the families of Alexis, meeting her for the first time as a beautiful little girl of 6 or 7 at the Grandparents home( Carnovale), she was such a sweet child .. I still see those beautiful eyes My thoughts and prayers are with all the family and friends, may God shine his eternal light on her and he grant the family peace and comfort in this tragic time . Also my condolences for her grandma Leone , we had some fun times together in the 80´s when I lived in Kamloops

I write to share deep condolences on behalf of the School of Social Work and Human Service at Thompson Rivers University. As Alexis's former instructor, I remember her as an extremely bright, compassionate, and talented woman who was committed to making the world a better place for all those she walked alongside. After graduation, Alexis shared her knowledge as a skilled and caring mentor of social work students, leaving a lasting impression in the field. She will be missed and remembered by so many. Our thoughts are with Alexis' family and friends at this time.
