In loving memory of
Christopher David Landstad
August 8, 1962 - June12, 2011
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris Landstad. Chris lost his courageous battle against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Chris was born in Kamloops, BC at the Royal Inland Hospital to David and Yvonne ?Bonnie? Landstad; he was little brother to Lorelee (Randy) Ruygrok and big brother to Todd (Laura) Landstad. Chris was the father of two beautiful daughters, Nadia Landstad and Alayna (Jesse) Steele, grandfather to Mariah Provencal and a dear uncle to Elizabeth and Lindsay Landstad. He also leaves to mourn him, his loving soul mate, Brenda (Gagnon) Kachur. Chris also has an incredibly close extended family of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins as well as many friends that will miss him.
Chris was predeceased by his sister Lorraine and his mother Yvonne.
Chris worked for CN Rail and in the logging industry for many years. His final dream job with the City of Kamloops meant a great deal to him where he valued his working relationships.
Being in the outdoors was Chris?s true passion that allowed him to follow the open road. Some of his interests included hockey, skiing, kayaking and cycling.
He will always be remembered by his ?honest golf score card?.
A celebration of Chris?s Life will be held at 10:00 am- Saturday June 18th, 2011 at Kamloops Evangelical Free Church located at 1132 8th Street Kamloops, BC. Reception to follow the service in the lower level of the church.
