Daniel Joseph Robert Silbernagel of Kamloops BC passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his side.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine; children Jo (Greg) Nichol, Len (Elaine) Silbernagel, Grant (Lida) Silbernagel, Brad Silbernagel, Marie (Will) Heron, Steve Nelson, and Dave (Dee) Nelson; grandchildren Amanda, Chelsea, Paul, Ann, Carol, Darius, Steve, Lisa, Braydon, and Courtney; brothers and sisters Rita Braden, Bernadette Tolmie, Caroline (Garth) Lapp, Jim (Marion) Scott, and Shirley (Roger) Thompson; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Daniel was born in Biggar, Saskatchewan, but moved to BC at an early age. He pursued a career as an auto body mechanic and took great pride in his work and abilities. Dan had a passion for life and was a member of the Kamloops 60+ curling league. He also enjoyed playing crib (always best of 3!) and loved antiquing. He was a Wagonmaster for Juniper Sams RV Club, as well as an avid hockey fan and a member of Kamloops Blazers Booster Club. Daniel was really proud of his children and grandchildren and their accomplishments.
The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 17th, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive, with Pastor Ken Nettleton officiating.
The family would appreciate donations in Dan?s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 203-635 Victoria St., Kamloops BC V2C 2B3, in lieu of flowers.
