Donna HAGAN Obituary
DONNA HAGAN
April 8, 1924
- June 11, 2003
fter a courageous battle with cancer Donna passed away peacefully, in her home with her family at her side.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Don.
Donna is survived by her brother Floyd (Nan) Reynolds; her two sons Doug (Vicky) and Roger (Brenda); daughters Lucy and Cathy (Rob) Jacobse; grandchildren Anndrea (Kevin) Lindsay, Ryan (Jermaine), Tyler (Christy), Mathew, Bridge (Cher), Amanda and Catie-Lee; great grandchildren Austin, Brooke, Noah, Lindsay and Tyson Hagan.
Donna and family moved to Kamloops in 1961. She was a long time employee of the T. Eaton Co. (a very good place to meet people) until its closing. Donna was a strong supporter (starting in 1974) of the Kamloops International Baseball Tournament. She received numerous Volunteer Appreciation Awards; where did she find the time to knit, sew and work on her greeting cards? She was loved very much, her unique personality and zest for life taught us to use humour to accept life's daily challenges. She made everyone around her smile; Donna will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Donna's Life will be held on Monday, June 16th, 2003 at 1:00 pm at the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street.
Should friends desire donations to the Kamloops Hospice Association, PO box 1505, Kamloops, BC V2C 6L8 in memory of Donna would be appreciated.
