Emlyn Moore Obituary

Emlyn ?Emy? Moore of Kamloops, B.C. passed away on December 11, 2005 at 69 years of age. He is survived by his beloved wife June and his loving children Randy (Terry) Moore, Darla (Linden) Martin and Dayna (Dave) Osborne, all of Kamloops. He also will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Collin, Lyssa, Danika and Dean and brothers and sisters Glan, Gino, Fern, Bob, Ken and Elaine.

Emy was predeceased by his parents William and Lilly Moore.

Emy was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on August 19, 1936, then moved to Port Alberni in 1940 with his family. Emy married the love of his life, June, on September 23, 1960. Emy, June and their children moved to Kamloops in 1968, and worked at Weyerhaeuser and the David Thompson Motor Inn

He will be remembered by many of his Maytag customers who dealt with him over the past 20 years. Papa loved having his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, over for sleepovers and swimming. Emy loved his family dinners and get togethers in Kamloops and Port Alberni. He was compassionate, giving and always willing to help anyone in need.

Viewing will take place on Thursday, December 15, 2005 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Rosewood Room at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive.

The Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2005 in Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel with Mary Widmer officiating.

The family would like to extend Special Thanks to Dr. Prasad and the I.C.U. staff at Royal Inland Hospital.
