Eugene Drobot Obituary
Lovingly remembered by his children, Risa (Cory), Travis (Nanette), his brothers Peter (Betty), Ernie, his sister Marie, and his five grandchildren and one great-grandchild as well as numerous other family and friends. Gene was predeceased by his beloved wife, Amber and daughter Gina.
Gene lived a full life, filled with family, music and hard work. He was especially proud of the many homes he built in his 60 years as a homebuilder. We shared a lot of laughs together as a family.

Dear Risa I am with you in thought and wish I could take some of the pain you are feeling at this time.
In my younger days in Quesnel I remember how proud I was when we all huddled around the honkin big television set to watch uncle Eugene sing his songs on a television program. In Quesnel, that was as big as it gets. If he would have followed that path I'm sure his name would have been in lights but for Quesnel and Kamloops when he sang around town his name was in lights. I remember high school girls coming up to me to ask about him--groupies.
I didn't see him often but when I did, he in my eyes was and still is a down to earth and kind uncle.

Very sorry to hear that Gene has passed. We have the privilege of living in a home that he built in 1987. As well, my husband and I both enjoyed getting to know Gene in our various capacities in the business community. He was always a pleasure to work with. He will be sadly missed. Our condolences to his family.

Dear Risa and Family,
I am so sorry to see this. I have many many fond memories of Mr.Drobot smiling on the field and laughing at all of his Girls. The world was a brighter and better place for having him in it. My heart to all of you and those who loved him dearly.
