Gottlieb Goodman Obituary

Gottlieb ?George? Goodman of Kamloops, BC passed away on May 27, 2006 at 93 years of age.

George is survived by his children Keith (Ora) Goodman of Calgary AB, Ken (Diane) Goodman of Kamloops BC, and Marlene (Bruce) Cameron of Calgary AB; grandchildren Coreen, Crystal, Lee, Troy, Trisha, Lia, Ryan and Tamara; great grandchildren Joshua, Ethan, Alyssa, Tyler, Jacob, Tiana, Somer, Kaitlyn, Tatiana and Isabella; sisters Mary Lebsack and Pauline Girletz both of Calgary AB; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his wife Marion, sister Molly, and his brothers Jacob, John, and Alex..

George was born in Saratov, Russia on April 12, 1913. He moved with his family at a young age to Champion, Alberta where he met his wife Marion Patterson. They were married in Kamloops in 1943. George worked on the CNR until he retired in 1974. For many years he attended Calvary Temple where he met many dear and close friends. George lived the last few years of his life at Berwick on the Park where he spent many hours with his special friend, Margaret Kinnee.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the Kamloops Alliance Church, 233 Fortune Drive, with Pastor Don Olsen officiating.

Donations in George?s memory may be made to Arms of Jesus, 60 Fairways Dr., Airdrie AB T4B 2P5, in lieu of flowers.
