Guy Voyer

Guy Voyer passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at the age of 78 with family by his side. Guy was predeceased in 1986 by his wife Anne, the love of his life. Guy was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1931 and was the oldest boy of 8 children. Guy and Anne had six children, Cathy, Ron (Grace), Laura (Marty), Joel (Kelley), Julie (Jack), and Patti (Lawrence) as well as 15 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Guy spent his working life perfecting a variety of trades in his own businesses, which enabled him to build three family homes as well as a number of industrial buildings. Guy also had an artistic side which showed in his many projects out of metal, including a life size replica of Father Lacombe, which he donated to the Public Library in St. Albert, Alberta. Guy was a much loved man and a very good friend.

celebration of Guy's life on

Saturday, August 22 at 1:00 pm at the West Bank Lions' Club.
