James Boucher Obituary

James has passed away, leaving us far too soon. James was the beloved and loving son of Dale Bass (Alan) of Kamloops and Mike Boucher (Karen) of London, Ontario, brother to Carrie and Mikey of London, Liam and Sean of Kamloops and step-brother to Graydon (Kelly) Marshall of London. James was uncle to Ethan, Keira, Gabrielle, Gideon, Vedder and Finnley.

Jamie will always be remembered for his kindness, thoughtfulness, patience and generosity toward his colleagues and those less fortunate. He spent his early years in London, making many friends who still fondly remember many hours of dark tag, street hockey and bike riding. He left for Kamloops for the final years of high school, making many more lifetime friends, and then returned to London.

Jamie is pre-deceased by grandparents Bruce and June Martin and Lucy Boucher. He will long be remembered in our hearts.

Due to current Covid restrictions a memorial service will take place at a later date in London.

Without James I can certainly say I would not be here where I am today. I used to work at a variety store and he used to come into to buy smokes. He used to tell me what I was doing there and that I should be working at Stream. I handed my resume to him. A week later I started working there. That was in 2005/6. His favorite lunch , everyday, was Gino's 2 slices of Hawaiian pizza. He HAD to make the 2 slices into a sandwich. We also worked at teletech, so many pickup soccer games and street hockey. One of the most humble, genuinely caring human being anyone will ever meet. I always remembered that he loved his sunglasses. Always had a pair when you seen him. In the office, they were back of his head upside down. He would light up a room with his smiles and outgoing personality. It is heart breaking that I have to post this.
Rest in Peace my brother. We will meet again.
To James family: Accept my sincere condolences.

As long as I've known James (met him just over 20 years ago in Kamloops) he's the guy that no matter how bad a day you have had or what you're going through something tough he could turn it around and make you smile. I think that was one of his best qualities, he never liked people being unhappy or having a rough day. He was thoughtful even in the worst of times and anyone who knew him will cherish his memories for sure. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten, he brightened the spirit of many. Condolences to all of his family (He loved you all so very much)
