Joyce ISRAEL Obituary
ISRAEL
On June 6, 2004 Mrs. Joyce Keehner Israel (nee Paling) passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her children: two sons Ronald (Betty) of Savona, B.C. and Doug of Kamloops, B.C. and one daughter Louise (Michael) Ward of Vancouver; three grandsons Dale (Nadine) and Trevor (Jennifer) both of Savona and James (Dianna) of Vancouver, B.C.; seven great grandchildren Jacob, Lane, Brody, Shasha, Sadie, Justine and Jordon; several step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and two sisters-in-law. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Carl (1991) and grandson Brian (1992).
Joyce was born on August 28, 1914 in Swan River, Manitoba. For the past 49 years she made her home in Savona. She loved music and taught piano, organ and accordion.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Savona Senior?s Centre with the Reverend Lynne Mann officiating.
Should friends desire donations to the Kamloops Hospice Association, 72 Whiteshield Crescent South, Kamloops, BC V2E 2S9 or the Thrupp Manor, 591 Royal Avenue Kamloops, BC V2B 3P8 in memory of Joyce would be appreciated,
