Kathryn Chambers Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathy Chambers. Kathy passed away peacefully on August 25, 2022 with family by her side.

Kathy was born in Kamloops BC on March 6, 1952.

She is survived by her sisters MaryAnn, Fern, and her brother Alf. Also her children Adam, Andrew, Anthony and her granddaughter Hailey.

Kathy was a very giving person who was always willing to help anyone. She was a nurse of 35 years for Red Cross. Her love for life and hobbies were photography traveling, family get togethers, and music.

Kathy was an amazing woman who was an inspiration to so many people. She was a firm believer of God, and has gone to be with her loving husband Mel.

There will be a service on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Kamloops, BC to remember her and share stories of her amazing life.

So sorry to hear the passing of your sister, mother, grandmother and dearest friend, Kathy. I met Kathy in the 90's while hunting moose with Mel. Rest in Peace now, Kathy. You're with your soul mate, Mel now.

As a nursing classmate from RIH, and then a nurse who also worked for the Red Cross Hospital group, I have fond memories of Kathy and her skills as an R.N.

So sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. We did our nursing training together & I was her wake-up alarm system
We had many a good belly laughs over those years & the few times we saw each other after our training. A wonderful person, so happy to have had her & those memories in my life. My heartfelt condolences to all.

I met Kathy a couple of years ago and enjoyed our visits. She seemed like such a grand women, loving and caring. We talked as if we had known each other for years. Sincere sympathy to Tony, Sarah and the rest of the family. Mat your memories help you through this most difficult time.
