Ken Fehr Obituary

Ken Fehr passed away in his home on Sunday, April, 5 2020 at the age of 65.

Ken will be remembered as a loving and loyal husband, caring father and a dedicated colleague and friend. Ken worked as a full-time glazier for over 30 years with a work ethic that was second to none. Even at 65, Ken still somehow found the strength to renovate the house on weekends and lend a hand to whoever needed it.

He loved watching movies, was an avid golfer and was always able to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, regardless of what trials and tribulations life would throw at him. A loving jokester at heart and possibly the worst picture taker of all time, he will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Trudy, two sons Kyle and Jason, four siblings Gerry, Sharon, Richard and Glen, and three grandchildren Jake, Kyra and Olivia.

2 years yesterday. I lost my beloved Holly a few weeks ago. If you see her, tell her I miss her every day and give her some hugs and scratches from me. She isn't hurting any more, so go for a ride together..... I will never forget you :(

I can't believe it's been a year already. It seems like it was just yesterday when I got this heart-breaking message. Thinking of you every day -- with love......

We are at that time of year again -- only this year we won't be able to laugh about our birthdays and how you are so much older than me -- by 2 days. I will still talk to you and wish you a happy birthday but it won't be the same. No more reminiscing with you about our crazy and wonderful youth, and the times we had -- getting caught sneaking into the Quesnel Fair, horseback riding down the road in front of your house, Goldie and Champ. The memories are endless and I miss you every day, not just at your birthday......

Trudy and family, I am so sorry to hear of ken's passing. I worked along side ken at deluxe for three years and many of the things he taught me then I still use today, in both home life and at work. We may have fell out of touch these last years but I always thought about calling him up and throwing some darts in the basement, or just plain ole having a chat about life. Good bye ken, till we meet again!

I am very sad to hear of Ken's. passing. I first met Ken when he worked with Gerry in the glass shop in Kamloops. I also had dealings during his time at Century Glass & the past few years working with the Family Glass people. Ken had an infectious smile & very pleasant disposition. Conversations were never boring & I will miss those the most. My sincerest condolences to all of his family. Rest in peace, my friend, you will be missed. Grant McLaughlin, Kelowna

Hi Trudy, Ken and I worked together for many years, he was definitely the best all around glass man I worked with in my 35 years in the business. He was a real character and allot of fun to be around, he will be sadly missed by everyone who got to know him. RIP brother, we will always love you.

Hi, I submitted a message last week, I reviewed it, but never saw it again, curious as to why? Gerry Fehr, Ken's brother.

Trudy and family....we are so shocked and saddened to hear that Ken has passed away. We have many happy memories of our golf games spent with him over the years. He was our 'Mr. Fix-it guy' when it came to window needs. With his gentle and relaxed demeanor he was always a joy to be with. We hope your happy memories will bring you comfort at this most difficult time. Love Wayne and Drina
