I worked with Ken many years ago and he strived to be the best at mechanics. Some people have a knack and some get thru with sheer determination and Ken had both when it came to mechanics. I lost touch with Ken but it appears he did well in life and has a wonderful family. Ken was fun to work with and he was never afraid to jump in and get dirty or give a hand if another guy was struggling. So sorry for your loss and that Ken's life was cut short in his early retirement.

Please accept our condolences to Ken's family and friends. My husband Andy was Ken's Venture Advisor when Ken was part of Scouts Canada. Lots of great memories of that time. Ken would do anything for anyone. Ken would always work on Andy's boat motor and it was always appreciated. Rest in Peace Ken. You were taken too soon. Fly with the angels and watch over us. Miss you.

From the minute we met Ken, we became fast friends. Our family grew to admire and love Ken for so many of his amazing attributes - he was kind, quick-witted, passionate, compassionate, generous, a treasured neighbor, and trusted friend.
We will miss his hilarious texts, his devilish grin, and his fun spirit.
We are heartbroken. Our community will not be the same without him.
RIP Ken.

Ken was our brother in law, previously married to my husband Dave’s sister, Donna. He is the father of some of our favourite people, Kelsey and Jarred. Together with our kids, we snowmobiled, went boating and fishing at the lake and shared many Christmases together.
We pray a blessing of peace and comfort to all of his family and friends at this sad time of loss. May the happy memories bring a smile to your heart.

Ken will be missed at EBL, he was a genuine gentlemen and always ready to help out in his quiet way. I fondly remember the day he came over and asked me to go up in the plane with him, I think I shocked him when I said yes, after many years of NO’s. Love to all the family.

Ken had a heart of gold. We grew to know Ken as a deeply sensitive fellow, a good friend with a quick wit and a sense of humour that often had us laughing out loud.
Ken was a devoted son and was so darn proud of his children. He spoke often of Jarred and Kelsey and looked forward to their visits.
We witnessed the love he had for Dawn, his best friend and partner, a relationship that we saw as adventuresome, fun and loving as they built their forever together.
We will never forget Ken Martin. Our condolences to his family. May your loving memories of Ken bring you peace, comfort, and strength today and always.
