Lorne Edwards Obituary

?Our Pillar of Strength?

Lorne was born in Matsqui, BC. He attended Elementary School in Abbotsford, BC. Graduated from Abbey Senior High in 1964. After graduation Lorne worked at Clayburn Harbison Industries. In 1966 He apprenticed at Kelowna Vocational School in Auto Body Mechanics, receiving top honours in his class. Lorne married his one true love, Jude, in 1968. Together, they raised their 3 children while residing in Mt. Lehman for 10 years. In 1979 Lorne took an opportunity to move his family to Kamloops BC, where he enjoyed fishing, camping, bike riding, cross-country skiing, swimming, and chopping wood. He leaves to cherish his memory ? his soul mate Jude, his 3 children Jody, Sean (Michelle), Tanya (Nigel), his 3 beautiful grandchildren Carter, Hanna, and baby Emma, his brother Bruce (Diane), his sisters Donna, and Debbie (Tom) as well as many nieces, nephews and so many friends. In lieu of flowers a donation to the SPCA or the BC Wildlife Foundation would be appreciated. A Celebration of Lorne?s life will be held at Grasshopper Bar, and Grill, 1430 Summit Drive, Kamloops, BC at @ 2pm on Saturday, September 19, 2009.
