Lorraine Parkinson Obituary
On Wednesday December 9, 2004 Lorraine Parkinson (nee Moss) unexpectedly passed away with her husband Floyd, son Kent and daughter Leslie by her side.
Lorraine was born June 30, 1936 in Estevan Saskatchewan. Lorraine and Floyd were married in 1953. In 1972 they moved their family to Logan Lake BC. There they firmly planted their lives in the community Mom tirelessly involved herself in her family, business and community activities including the Y, choir, Eucharistic ministry and many others. She will be missed by so many as she touched many lives.
Lorraine was predeceased by her son Kurt, mother Mary and sister Carol.
Mom will be lovingly remembered by her husband Floyd, children Kent, Leslie (Ray), Susan (Greg), Jennifer, Keith (Cole), daughter in-law Penny (Kurt), grandchildren Stacey, Chelsea, Kassidy, Kendall, Stephanie, Tyler, Jordan and Bailey. She will also be missed by her dad Joe Moss, sister Neen and brother Bob (Sandy) along with many nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Michael's Parish (Logan Lake Community Church) with The Reverend Father Dale Normandeau celebrant. Interment will follow at Whispering Pines Cemetery, Logan Lake.
